Q. Should I wash my mattress cover and box spring encasement before use?
A. Yes
it is recommended that you wash both covers before use to remove the starch
that has been used to make the packaging process easier. You can wash the
covers on warm or cool do not use bleach and then tumble dry both on
a low (150 to 160 degrees only) setting making sure to put in a few towels
to just cushion the covers as they bounce around in the dryer. Find out how

Q. Which side should face up on terry top mattress covers?
A. On extra tall mattresses, the terry top should face up.
Q. Can I dry-clean my protectors?
A. No, do not dry-clean our bed bug bite proof mattress and box spring protectors. The Miracle Membrane can be damaged by dry-cleaning chemicals.
Q. Can I sun dry my mattress and box spring cover after washing
A. Yes you can line dry our products but sun exposure may cause the Miracle Membrane to yellow. The yellow color will not affect the durability of the Miracle Membrane.
A. No, do not iron the mattress, box spring or pillow protectors. The high heat can damage the Miracle Membrane.
Q. Are the sides of the mattress and box spring protectors covered under the warranty
A. No, the warranty only cover the sleeping surface of the mattress protector.
Q. I have allergies will the protectors protect me from dust mite exposure
A. Yes, the mattress protector will protect you against dust mites and other allergens. The Miracle Membrane does not allow the dust mite feces to penetrate as the feces particle is larger than the pores of the Miracle Membrane.
Q. What is the Miracle Membrane
A. The Miracle Membrane is a revolutionary polyurethane barrier film that is waterproof and breathable. It creates a barrier between your skin and biting bed bugs.
Q. Will these covers protect my mattress from stains?
A. Yes the Miracle Membrane is designed to not only be a bite proof barrier, but a water or liquid impermeable barrier as well. It will protect your mattress from stains.
Q. My cat urinated on my bed, no liquid or stains got through but there is still a strong smell what can I do?
A. The mattress protector is designed to be impermeable to liquids but it is permeable to gasses and vapors. Therefore the smell of the urine has moved into the mattress but the protector has prevented a stain. Do not remove the cover, just use a readily available odor eliminator to remove the remain vapor odors.
Q. My protector has brown scuff marks on the Miracle Membrane what has caused this?
A. The temperature settings of your dryer were too high causing scorching or the protector stayed on the hot air intake of your tumble dryer too long. This type of damage is not covered under warrantee.

A. The temperature settings on your dryer are set above the recommended limits and have caused the membrane to soften and pull away from the cotton layer. This type of damage is not covered by the Protect-A-Bed warranty.

A. Yellowing is normal and does not affect the benefits of the Miracle Membrane. Yellowing can be accelerated by exposure to sunlight but is considered a normal wear and tear as far as we are concerned.
