Summer is Peak Time for Bed Bugs
There is a season for all pests and summer with its hot and humid weather is just the right time for the proliferation of bed bugs. This year bed bug infestations have been worse than ever before. In fact the number of bed bug extermination treatments nationally is on the rise.
Bed bugs are equal opportunity pests. They don’t care if you live in a tenement house, in a luxury Park Avenue apartment, or a suburban home in Paramus. Bed bugs will thrive where ever you allow them to do so. Many times residents will simply not know what is biting them at night, they will struggle to find an answer. Then cool weather will come and the problem will seem to go away. But the truth is that the bed bugs are still there, just less active in dry and cold weather, come summer with hot and humid weather and they may proliferate and attack you, their food source, with a vengeance.
