Should NJ, NYC Bed Bugs Infested Hotels be Sued?
Should tourists be allowed to sue NJ, NYC hotels if they were bitten by bed bugs while staying in the building? It depends on the situation. If hotels are adhering to standards established by experts to prevent bed bug infestations and are hiring qualified pest control companies and following their suggestions for treatments perhaps an apology to hotel guests that were attacked by bed bugs should suffice. Hotels in NJ, NYC, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens and Manhattan can’t strip search everyone and rummage through every guests luggage looking for bed bugs. Even if they have the opportunity to inspect all the items in suitcases those little bed bugs are hard to find.
If there is no negligence or malice involved maybe hotel owners shouldn’t have to pay out big piles of money for bed bug bites. One could argue they should sue hotel guests for bringing the little critters in and infesting their building. Sometimes people just have to be content with the idea that sometimes unfortunate things happen and suing isn’t appropriate. However, if the hotel owner is aware of a bed bugs infestation and does nothing about it and does not warn his guests then sure slap a law suit on him.
If you have bed bugs call a NJ, NYC bed bugs pest control professional to destroy them.
