A Mouse In My House Part II Of II
Continuing from Thursday…
An hour later, after a ton of noise, and a huge mess in the playroom; my husband proclaimed victory. He sucked the mouse up in our portable vacuum cleaner, using the hose. Not wanting to let the poor creature rot in my expensive vacuum, he pulled the bag and headed outside to the trash can. Sensing freedom was near, the mouse popped his head out of the bag and leaped onto the deck and ran out into the yard. I stood there in disbelief and said “See you soon Mr. Mouse.”
We have no idea how the mouse entered the house. We have worked very hard to make sure that any possible entry points have been sealed and we recheck them often. Despite our best efforts, that mouse found a way inside.
Because I know the mouse will back, with his friends no doubt, it’s time to call in the mouse brigade. We need the Track & Trap to find out where this bad boy came from. The Track & Trap is fantastic because once the mouse is inside of the special unit that is loaded with yummy mouse treats; it unknowingly travels through a special powdered fluorescent chemical that adheres to its feet and body. After a few days, a mouse eradication expert arrives to track the path of the mouse using a special UV light. This fantastic unit will allow us to find out exactly how that mouse came into my house.
If you need to get rid of a mouse or want to try the Track & Trap yourself, contact Stern Environmental Group for their expert services.
