Insights about NJ and NYC Bed Bugs

Hey NJ and NYC residents. Did you know that bed bugs are categorized as ectoparasites? Did you know a female bed bug will lay from 300 to 500 eggs in their lifetime. By the way, they lay their eggs one at a time and attach them to a surface with a cement like fluid. The eggs are typically in groups of 20 to 50. Bed bug eggs take about 10 days to about two weeks to hatch. It takes about seven weeks for the insects to become adults.

For those living in NJ, NYC, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and Italy and everywhere else, bed bugs feed on humans by inserting their proboscis, which is the name for their mouth, into a capillary or vein. They cleverly secrete a form of anesthetic and anti-coagulant in order to prevent the blood from clogging and to prevent the human from feeling pain and waking up and killing them. When the human coagulants come to the rescue and stop the flow of blood the bed bugs don’t go home they simply move over and suck out more blood. I have decided I don’t like bed bugs.

If you have bed bugs ask a NJ, NYC bed bugs pest control expert to get rid of them.
