Should Bed Bug Infested Family Member be Confronted?
A letter was recently published in the New York Times regarding a bed bug dilemma. Apparently the writer of the letter was told in secret by her mother that her brother has bed bugs. The writer is concerned that the brother will spread the bed bugs all over the house of a relative where the family will be staying.
Everyone in the house can be attacked by bed bugs and it doesn’t stop there. These new bed bug infested people will unintentionally transport the odious insects to their place of work, to their friends homes to movie theaters etc.
The brother hasn’t even told his landlady he has bed bugs. Oh the outrage! That shows a lack of concern for his neighbors. Delaying the bed bug eradication treatments will also make the procedure more expensive for the landlord.
It seems the NYC Times writer that responded to the letter has it correct. The letter writer should tell her mom to take care of this situation and if she won’t the letter writer should help her brother with his bed bug problem. One bed bug infested person can spread bed bugs all over the place. Social responsibility should be a high priority.
If you have NJ, NYC bed bugs ask a NJ, NYC bed bug pest control expert to eliminate them.
