Can You Escape Bed Bugs?
Many residents of the United States are in denial about the scourge of bed bugs. Residents of New York and New Jersey will not be surprised as they have been dealing with bed bug infestation problems for quite some time and they know how bad the problem really is. Last week Ohio’s Bed Bug Task Force released a staggering new report to the public. Apparently, every ZIP code in Franklin County, Ohio now has reported bed bug infestations. The report states that bed bugs have been found in schools, churches, bowling alleys, dialysis centers, apartment building, private homes and even veterinary offices.
The fact is that bed bugs don’t care where you live or work or how much money you make. They can be found in the finest of hotels and high-rise office buildings. You will also find them in low income housing and homeless shelters. Bed bugs seek only one thing…blood, preferably from a human, but cats and dogs will do if need be.
Bed bug monitoring devices are great ways to help you detect a potential infestation in your home. If you discover that you do have bed bugs, you should contact a bed bug expert as soon as possible.
