Once the NJ, NYC bed bugs are in your residence your trouble will greatly increase. The female bed bugs will produce eggs which in just a few days will become little bed bug nymphs with huge appetites; unfortunately for human blood.
What can you do to prevent a NJ, NYC bed bugs infestation?
Caulk all the cracks and crevices in the residence and glue down loose wall paper since bed bugs love to hide and lay eggs in these areas.
Frequently vacuum your home including the furniture, drapes and the bed posts and frame.
Bed bugs and their eggs hiding in bedding and clothes will die if you wash them in hot water.
After you have vacuumed your mattress get a quality mattress encasement and make sure the zipper is completely closed. Beg bugs that are living in the mattress will die due to starvation. Leave the encasement on for at least two years since bed bugs have been known to live over a year without a meal by going into hibernation.
After traveling take all your clothes and immediately wash them in hot water and vacuum your suitcase and then throw the vacuum bag away outside in the garbage can.
The whole family needs to be part of the NJ, NYC bed bugs prevention plan.
