My friends all think I am completely paranoid.  I must admit, I am afraid of bed bugs!  I have found that knowing as much about bed bugs as I do, is both a blessing and a curse.

I recently took a long weekend away from the family and went skiing.  Upon my arrival and a particular upscale ski resort; I decided to do my usual bed bug check before I did any unpacking.  Other than one mysterious looking stain on the mattress pad, everything seemed to check out just fine.   After the first night, I noticed two red marks on my leg.  Could it be bed bugs?  I had to check again.  I did not find anything suspicious.  After the second night, I noticed another mark on my leg and one on my arm.  I performed another room inspection and found nothing.  That was a relief, but since I am paranoid, I was still worried.  I soon began my journey back home.
