NYC Official Speaking at National Bed Bug Summit

Residents of Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens and Manhattan might be pleased to know that during the EPA’s National Bed Bug Summit, Sharon Heath of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will be speaking. Her speech will occur during the session titled “How Public Health Agencies View Bed Bug Infestations.” The Bed Bug Summit will be occurring on April 14th. It’s good to know that someone from NYC is taking a leadership role in the dreaded bed bugs infestation that has spread all over the nation.

The agenda will include bed bugs basics, their impact on public and private housing, control methods for bed bugs, bed bug challenges and the governments response to bed bugs. This must be an important meeting since the owner of Stern Environmental, Douglas Stern will be attending the summit.

Bed bugs have indeed hit the big time when the EPA hosts a National Bed Bug Summit. I have not heard of a national cockroach summit being planned. I think the name “bed bugs” will be mentioned 138 times at the summit.

If you have odious bed bugs or just bed bugs ask a NJ, NYC bed bugs pest control expert to eliminate them.
