The Entomological Society, Inc., is hosting another bed bug seminar and this one features the prominent guest speaker Louis Sorkin B.C.E., Entomologist, Arachnologist of the American Museum of Natural History. Hie presentation is titled “What do you Really know About Bed Bugs?” I know, most New Jersey and New York City residents are shouting “They’re creepy!” Who could blame them?
Louis Sorkin has been invited to speak about insect topics at meetings sponsored by the medical community, science organizations, the real estate industry, the pest management agency and government agencies. Some of Louis Sorkin’s investigations have been on television, radio, in newspapers and magazines.
You can hear Mr. Sorkin discuss the odious bed bugs at the Kaufman Theater Wednesday January 20th from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The New York Entomological Society meetings are open to the public with no admission charge. You can probably learn a lot of valuable information about bed bugs from attending the meeting. No, men are not required to wear ascots.
