Bed bugs infestations are a touchy issue with hotel owners in New Jersey, New York City and all over the world. At the Pest Management Canada 2010 conference in Ottawa attendees probably won’t be tweeting about bed bugs.

The conference organizers mentioned that attendees will be provided the opportunity to ask questions of the bed bug experts anonymously and they will also have the opportunity to have a meeting with professionals in a confidential fashion.

The conference is designed for pest control companies but the conference includes one day which is designed for hotel, apartment, cruiseship and hospital managers. The conference administrators realize that owners of businesses that have been infiltrated by bed bugs want to keep it quiet.

Bed bugs can severely damage a business, whether its a hotel, apartment, cruiseship or any business where people gather. Bed bugs are more damaging to a business than cockroaches and perhaps angry wolverines. Bed bug monitors are an excellent investment for business owners.
