They’ve traveled from around the world to fulfill their Olympic dream of completing in the Olympics.  Some of the hard working athletes will be rewarded for their efforts with gorgeous gold, silver, and bronze medals at the end of these Olympic Games.  In a few short days the closing ceremony will signify the end of the games that only occur once over four years.

According to Property118.com on July 30, 2012, in 2000, pest control professionals announced during the Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia that they were concerned about the 8,000 ercent increase in bed bug reports occurring in the area.  Because of the massive amount of bed bugs that arrived with the international travelers, London pest control professionals claim to be ready for the onslaught of the blood thirsty pests.

It will be interesting to see if a similar worldwide resurgence of hungry bed bugs will occur once again after the London Olympics are complete.
