A new radio show titled “What’s Bugging You” gives listeners of “Krystal Nation” Sirius XM 167 an opportunity to call in with their questions on bed bugs, rodents, and other pests. Hosted by Michael Goldman of Purity Pest Control in Ontario, Canada, the program started in September. The monthly radio segments air on Saturday at 5 p.m. and are repeated at 6 p.m. on Sunday. Andrew Krystal is co-host and producer.

Pests have been grabbing more headlines recently, and people appreciate having an opportunity to speak with pest control experts about their questions and concerns. The bed bug epidemic continues to spread in major cities and Zika-virus-carrying mosquitoes are a growing concern for people across North America. Mosquitoes aren’t the only deadly insects. Wasp stings are painful for everyone and can lead to severe allergic reactions and can even be fatal for some people. Protect your family by contacting the NJ pest control experts.

Pests in businesses can cause major problems, destroy property, and reduce profits. Just one negative review about bed bugs can spread across social media faster than a bed bug infestation can spread through a hotel or apartment complex.

Whether you’re a homeowner combating pesky squirrels or a business owner who needs an effective pest control method like Stern’s RTM to protect your business, you can reach out to the NJ pest control experts at Stern Environmental Group anytime.

If you’re familiar with bed bugs, you know they don’t like the cold. In fact, when temperatures start to dip you might be thinking you can put your bed bug worries away for the winter. However, it just doesn’t work that way.

Bed bugs need to find a warm place to stay for the winter, and your nice, warm house provides the perfect atmosphere for them to survive and thrive. If you’re concerned about a bed bug infestation this winter, it’s important to take the necessary precautions right now.

Monitor for Bed Bugs

Bed bug monitors are actually very effective for alerting you of an infestation before it gets out of hand. If you see any bed bugs in the monitors, you can be sure there are more hiding in your bed, behind the walls, or in another close spot.

Use Caution When Traveling, Even Locally

You’re careful when you visit a hotel, and you always inspect the room for bed bugs before you enter. However, did you know that you also need to use caution when you travel locally? Bed bugs are great hitchhikers, and it’s becoming more and more common to find them on public transportation.
